About

I’m Elin Hansson, a photographer and illustrator from the Swedish west coast.

My creative work grows from a love of nature, colour and the small details that make a place feel alive. I’m especially drawn to coastal landscapes, harbour villages, soft evening light and the kind of views that carry both stillness and nostalgia.

With a background in photography, I often think in terms of light, atmosphere and composition, even when I illustrate. My work combines digital and analogue painting techniques, allowing me to bring together the precision of digital tools with the warmth and texture of hand-drawn elements. I also create my own brushes in Procreate, based on analogue drawings, which helps give my illustrations a more personal and tactile expression.

I’m also a fan of craft beer, which has naturally found its way into parts of my work. For me, it connects with the same appreciation for local character, craftsmanship and atmosphere whether it’s a coastal village, a small brewery or the feeling of sharing something well made.

Through my work, I want to celebrate the Swedish coastline, Scandinavian nature and the details that make everyday moments feel special. Each print is made with care, with the hope that it will bring warmth, character and a sense of place into your home.
